DJI Osmo Pocket 4 set to launch on April 16

DJI has confirmed that its next-generation pocket camera, the Osmo Pocket 4, will officially launch on April 16 at 12 PM (GMT).

The upcoming model is expected to build on the Osmo Pocket 3, focusing on improved image quality while keeping the same compact, handheld design. Teasers from DJI hint at camera upgrades, particularly in low-light performance and dynamic range.
Based on early details, the standard Osmo Pocket 4 will retain its familiar form factor, featuring a small body with a motorized gimbal camera on top and a rotatable screen below. Physical controls, including a zoom toggle and customizable button, are also expected to remain.
On the hardware side, the device is rumored to feature a 1-inch sensor capable of delivering up to 14 stops of dynamic range, along with support for 10-bit D-Log for better color grading in post-production.
There are also indications of a possible Pro version, which may introduce a dual-camera setup, although DJI has not officially confirmed this.
In terms of usability, the Osmo Pocket 4 could come with built-in storage of up to 107GB and faster transfer speeds of up to 800MB/s, allowing quicker file transfers and a smoother workflow for creators.
Overall, DJI appears to be refining its compact camera formula by improving imaging performance while maintaining portability and ease of use.
More details, including full specifications and pricing, are expected at the official launch event.
